Porn Paradox pt.2

I sent out a message on social media earlier in the week asking how porn affected people’s relationships. The response I got was overwhelming, within a minute my inbox was flooded with men sharing their stories of how ‘porn ruined their relationship’.

Uh huh. Note how my question was 100% neutral, and 100% of the feedback that I got was all men, with negative stories to tell.

The sky was dark. It had been dark for some time now. Purple storm clouds swirled around overhead and the streaks of lightening ripped the sky apart like it was tissue paper. The top of our house had been torn off by the giant monsters that roamed the streets as they hunted, but that was just a common sight in this vast wasteland that used to be downtown suburbia. You could hear the otherworldly shriek as it claimed another victim, ripping its head off with its claws and devouring the squishy entrails.

There were only four of us, shivering; tightly bundled into what was left of Matt’s mums bathroom. Hoping, praying they wouldn’t smell the sin on us, I pressed myself even further back into the tiled wall.

They knew, you see. They could taste it on your skin as they tore into you, smell it a mile away. Any man who had watched porn was just like a tin of tuna to them, a tasty treat waiting to be snacked on. It didn’t matter what type of porn either; POV, lesbian strapon, gangbangs – you name it. The stain that the voyeuristic consumption of these ‘sins of the flesh’ leaves on the mind is what they hunt.

And they stop at nothing to claim their next meal.

Unwanted advice: Take some goddamn responsibility for your failing relationships, the problem isn’t the pornography itself you dolts, and I’m sure your (ex) girlfriends will agree.
